The Undersea Adventure

One bright sunny day I built a super sub.  Oh who am I?  Well I'm Will Johns I'm 11 years old and I'm sort of tall for my age and I'm kind of scrawny too which does come in handy.  Well this is the time I had an undersea adventure.                                                       "Well" I said.  "Time to g..."  Newt Man was asleep in the sub!!!  I really hoped I was hallucinating so I closed my eyes and rubbed hard but when I opened them he was still there "Oh well" I said "I'm going whether he's coming or not!"  So I got in and closed the hatch.                                                                  After sinking some 40 feet or so an explosion rocked the sub we were in a old minefield!!  The explosion woke Newt man up his eyes grew wider and wider as he looked around.  "What am I doing here!?" He yelled.  "You are in my super sub." I told him "But now I have to steer us out of this minefield!"   I said.                       So I got us out safely and went even deeper.  So deep in fact we saw an angler fish!!  So I shot a tiny bomb in to its mouth and the angler fish exploded into a lot of little pieces! (Ha-Ha-Ha :D).  Soon  I had to do the same to a shark.  About an hour later We saw a cave and I went in an surfaced the sub and saw a huge sea serpent!!!!  It was seaweed green and big pincers the size of school buses!!  Its eyes were a sickly yellow and were as big as bicycle wheels!!  I screamed and Newt Man yelled I'll admit we looked pretty silly yelling and screaming.  So we shot out of the cave but the serpent  followed!                           I  shot two torpedoes and they left huge gashes in the serpent's hide green blood spurted out but the serpent hardly seemed fazed!!  Then the serpent rammed into the sub knocking out its thrusters!  I put on a very deep diving suit then Newt man handed me a harpoon and wished me good luck.  Then I climbed out of the sub and harpooned the serpent's head and killed it.    Then I pulled out my tool kit and went to work fixing the thrusters.                                                When the thrusters were finally fixed I was almost out of oxygen!  So I got back in the sub and pulled off my diving suit.  After we shot away from Serpent cave I said "Now to do what I came here to do."  I switched on the subs digger claws and dug really deep soon I came across diamonds!  "Great!" I said "Cool" said Newt Man.  Soon after we collected all the diamonds we went to the surface and me and Newt Man teamed up and fought crime after I invented a Iron man like suit.

The Story Of The Loch Ness Monster

                                    One hot awesome summer I went to Loch Ness for a vacation little did I know I would save the monster.  My name is Will Johns  I am 11 years old. Well I went to Loch Ness and met Clone cap. Rex!  (Might I add I was my cool super suit?)  I said "What are you doing here!?"  Rex said  "I am looking for Nessie." I said "Can I help?" Rex said " Sure! We need all the help we can get!"                       

            Then, Rex showed me his large high tech ship. I heard some thuds and thumps below and told Rex and he said "It's probaly the crew messing around."  Then we got in Rex's sub to look for Nessie. After an hour we got to Nessie's deep dark drippy cave.  Then, we got out of the sub and looked around. I said "Nessie is not home." Rex said " You're right!" I said "Let's look around more."  Then, we saw a skeleton!  Then we heard a loud roar, it was Nessie! "Get back to the ship!" Rex yelled. Then, we shot to the surface.  When we got back me and Rex saw that some of the crew was missing!

            Then Zorro came and grinned evilly. He said "Goodbye you two." I thought for a minute an remembered "Zorro why are you doing this!?"  I said.  Zorro said " I want to catch Nessie!" Then a rumbling came from below decks soon it got louder. Then SONIC burst through the decks! "Curses! I knew that hedgehog would escape!" Zorro yelled. I smiled as I shuffled closer to the weapons cabin.

            I signaled Sonic with a funny baseball signal and he nodded.  Then he started beating up the bad crew. I got a sword and started helping Sonic. After all the mutineers were knocked out I went after Zorro.   After a while we heard a screech, Nessie was captured! Rex  fired his gun but missed the rope! Then Sonic cut the rope. Then I sliced Zorro's sword and broke it.  Then I punched Zorro in the face so hard he was knocked out.  Then we watched Nessie disappear under the waves.

Oregon Trail Journal Entry

                                                                                                                              March 3 1841                                          

                       We are at  the Narrows today.  We are good on food and drink.  Ian has been bit by a rattlesnake but we did the Tourniqte/Suction method so he'll pull through.  I will go hunt for wild fowl soon.   I now have gone hunting and I shot 3 geese. We are leaving the Narrows now so Ian will have to ride in a wagon for a while.  I hear a storm a coming so everyone will go in the wagons for some protection from the rain.    Wow! it is worse than I thought! Lighting is flashing everywhere!! Hopefully it will stop soon!  Pa is waiting for us in Oregon so I hope we stay safe.

My Slave Journal Response

                                                                                                                      Jan. 1852                                     It is dark.  My family is cold and hungry. It is winter and we just went through a cold river.  Harriet urges us on. I say to my family that it is only a few more miles to pennsylvania.  Harriet said that I had good navinagatial skills. I say that we should hide because I heard some hounds. I will write again soon.

My Sad Time Today

                                                    I killed a pigeon today.  It suffered a bit and it hurt to see it.  I tried to give  it a quick death but I am new at shooting living creatures so it was hard for me. I just cried when I killed it I did not mean to hurt it. So Mom called Dad to see what to do.  After I killed it Dad told me to turn it over and pick it up by it's legs with his work gloves and throw it in the trash.  He said he saw a guy step on a chipmunk and he saw it suffer.  I learned that people sometimes shoot animals for fun and also for food.  I felt horrible.

The Life Story of Will Johns

                                                 June 12, 2002 funny Will johns is born.     August 2003, Will moves paradisaical Guam.   August 10, 2004, Will has a pretty baby sister named Vivi.   September  2005, Will moves to small Maryland.    Dec. 2006, Will moves to hot Nevada.  Feb. 2007, Will has a silly baby brother named Ian.  March 2008, Will has another sister named Cadey and starts kindergarten  with sister Ward.  September 2009, Will starts first grade with Mrs. Grimm.  September 2010, Will starts second grade with Mrs. Sanders. 2011 Will has his first  trip to Boston and gets baptized. 2012, Will has his first triathlon and learns to shoot a BB gun and wounds his first 2 pigeons.  

My Fictional Story

People told wild stories about the creative Will Johns. One day he was kidnapped!  He tried gnawing ferociously at the tight ropes but then a cool idea came to his creative mind.  He started getting relaxed and slid smoothly out of the ropes.  Then, he got away safely.  Will Johns is very creative in tough situations.

The New Chickens

 On Monday my family got new chickens (Sparkles and Duchess).   

Yesterday they laid eggs!!!

My Toy Snake

 I had bought a toy snake yesterday at the dollar store

and I took some pictures today.  I named him Leo.

Henry The 2

Henry the 2 became king of England in1154. He said that all kinds of taxes were needed from noblemen and he sent soldiers   

,judges and sheriffs to get the taxes. He made the government we have today;courts, jails jurys,and trials. Henry was a good king

The Great Plane Rescue

The brilliant light of the sun gleamed and glimmered . To the trained eye a slight silhouette was barely detectable . No one could guess what was happening inside Tyler's invisible plane. A week ago I got a disturbing letter from Tyler saying he was in trouble.




Tyler was my best friend and I wasn't about to waste time. My name is Will. I'm known for my many skills, talents and good looks! I was sure Tyler sent me the message because he knew that I was the only one that could help. The letter gave me instructions to get on Tyler's plane. While I was following Tyler's instructions I saw a blue blur and I knew who it was.




It was Sonic!!! I asked him "What are you doing here?!" Smiling sonic said "Same as you." "WOW!" I said," You want to work together?" Sonic said "Sure I'd like that!" Then we went to help Tyler.




When we got to Tyler's invisible plane we started looking for Tyler. Then, we heard a yell for help. Me and Sonic saw the bathroom door shaking. Sonic went and opened the door and Tyler came out.





Tyler said a man in black had trapped him there. (You don't want the details mate.)




Then, a strange gas started coming Tyler gave me and Sonic each a gas mask. Tyler said " This gas might from the man in black robes!" I said "Sonic go check the wing!" When sonic checked he saw a big bomb! When Sonic got back in he told me and Tyler he saw a bomb!



I said " It might have been put there by the man in black!" Then Sonic and I put our gas masks on. Tyler said " We need to find a way to get the bomb off!" I said " we need to find a crow bar!" Tyler said " I have one in the cockpit!" Then , we ran to the cockpit and saw that no one was flying the plane! I said "I will fly the plane Tyler you and sonic get the bomb off!" "Okay." Tyler mumbled.






Then Sonic got the bomb off and I made the plane land safely. Me,Tyler and Sonic saved the day and got nobel prizes for saving a plane.

My Bird Story

Getting a Pet Bird


Last summer, when I turned 9 I had a pretty exciting thing happen, I got a pet bird. You might think it happened easily, but you would be wrong. It all started when I was 8 my Gma had a pet bird named Martha. It was a big African grey parrot. It could even talk! I always thought it was really cool it was my first inspiration for getting a pet bird.

Then something really unexpected happened. One day my mom found a baby bird outside in the front yard. It had fallen out of its nest. I was really excited. I thought it was my chance to have a pet bird. We tried to save it by keeping it warm with a hot water bottle and a towel. We put it in a little box and tried to feed it. My mom and dad said it might not live. I was nervous. After two days we went to check on the little guy. It was not moving. I was scared. We called dad to check and when he looked at it he said it was dead. I was very sad. I felt like my heart was broken.

Then my birthday came I got $121! I knew it was my 2nd chance to get a pet bird. But I was worried I would not have enough money. But I had enough money to buy it. I even had enough to buy 2 birds! I was so excited. After 18 days we went to go buy the birds.

Then, we brought it home. I was REALLY happy. Then, dad put the cage together. When we opened the box the birds were in they flew all around the room! Dad had to catch them because they were flying all over.

I like having my birds. They were hard to take care of. They were also messy. I liked taking them out of the cage. They are fun. They are the best birds in the world. I named them Harry and Sora. I love them so much. They are fast. They are good at flying.

Then one day my birds got sick. One morning, when I woke up and uncovered the birds Sora was dead. I cried a lot. I was really sad. I buried it in the back yard and then I felt a little better. Harry was still sick so we put warm water bottles in his cage and kept the blanket on the cage. Sometimes I checked on him. When I looked he was ok. When dad got home we took him out of the cage. He walked around the room. He even got on my shoulder! Once I even put him on my head! I was scared he would die. I prayed he would get better. Little by little he got better. He did not die. Then everything went back to normal. We started taking him out of the cage when dad gots home. Harry used to hit the walls. But he maneuvers out of the way now. I am happy that I have a pet bird. That’s how I got a pet bird. The end.

Stone Fox Book Review

Stone Fox is a good book because Little Willy never gives up. He took care of a farm because his grandfather was sick and he was only ten! Willy needed money to pay taxes, but he didn't have any money. Because Willy never gives up, he entered a race against Stone Fox, a Native American from the Shoshone tribe. Here is the sad part. Willy's dog Searchlight died from running too fast. Searchlight would never give up either. I liked this book it teaches us how to persevere more.
